Day One
Take in the sites of the Midwest’s Largest Flea Market with over 1000 vendors gathered together to sell their wares. Every Tuesday and Wednesday at 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. May thru October
Hear the story Amish-Mennonites while touring the Menno-Hof Interpretive Center where history is decidedly hands-on, taking you and your family on a journey through the unique history of the Amish and Mennonite cultures. More than 24 display areas take you on a journey through Amish and Mennonite history.
Join your personal step on guide and begin your Amish Backroads Adventure where your stops will include an Amish noodle market, Amish Quilt shop, Amish Buggy Shop and much more.
“Haystack Lunch” at an Amish home located along the peaceful countryside of LaGrange County an experience your group is sure to enjoy. Visit with the family and learn some cooking secrets.
Take a step back into time and tour the New Hostetler Hudson Antique Auto Museum
This private collection of Eldon Hostetler has 48 antique cars shined and placed in their different eras. Listen as Eldon tells you the story of how he grew up Amish and fell in love with these unique motor-vehicles.
Tour Riegsecker Furniture an approximate 1-hour guided walking tour of our own furniture and custom cabinet factory. Watch handcrafted oak and cherry furniture being built step-by-step at Riegsecker Hardwoods. Tours available daily at 1pm, Mon-Fri, May-December.
Take a delicious tour of Plyley’s Candies where candy is made the old-fashioned way, one batch at a time. Visit the factory store where sweet aroma fills the air and watch us make our fine confections by hand.
Return to Farmstead Inn for an evening relaxation.
Your group will be picked up by a horse-drawn carriage where you then will be given a tour of the town and later taken to your dining stop.
Your host will take you to the Blue Gate Restaurant
where dinner awaits you in one of their beautiful dining rooms. You and your group will enjoy a delicious Amish/Mennonite cooked meal with freshly homemade desserts.
After dinner join us for family friendly gospel entertainment at the Blue Gate Theatre. You will hear performers such as Chonda Pierce, Dino, The Booth Brothers and much more.
Day Two

Check out
Stop off at Yoder’s Shopping Center; this unique Department/Hardware store is a popular stop for Motorcoach groups.
Tour the newly rebuilt Davis Mercantile with 4 floors/24 shops; visit JoJo's Pretzel in the Davis Mercantile for a free pretzel.
Walk the streets of downtown Shipshewana; visit some of the quaint little shops that line Harrison, Morton and Depot Street.
Take a hay-wagon ride among the great American Bison in its own habitat at Cooks Bison Ranch.
This is a unique experience for all ages! After the wagon ride return to the pavilion for a Chuck-wagon style lunch.
